Career Mentoring

The Careers Service and Alumni office are working closely to develop a career mentoring project known as Aspire Mentoring. The project matches a mentor (Alumni member) with a mentee (current student) to help raise aspirations and provide career-related information and support.

The Aspire Mentoring project aims to:

  • Ensure that students gain an insight into working life and the skills that are required in a particular job sector.
  • Enable students to develop employability skills relevant to a particular career.
  • Provide guidance to the student on their chosen career.
  • Assist the student in achieving their own career-focused goals.
