1. “Who are you, where are you based and what can you help me with?”

-We provide programme administrative support and guidance to students, staff and other units across the University. We will support you from when you are a prospect student until the time you graduate.  We are based within the Student Centre in the Eagle Mall building. The Academic Support Service will be able to help you with the following issues; Timetable Queries, Result Queries, Transcript Requests, Course Related Enquiries and Liaising with Academic and other units of the University.

  1. “Can students visit the Academic Support Service in person?”

-Although we are not in a student-facing environment, you can request to see one us at the Student Centre. You can also contact us during the hours of 08.45-17.00 Monday-Friday via Telephone (01204 903733), Email (On-campus: academic-office@bolton.ac.uk) (Off-Campus: OCDstudentenquiries@bolton.ac.uk) or by Post (Academic Support Services, The University of Bolton, University Way, Bolton, BL3 5AB).

  1. “Why are there two campus teams?”

-The On-Campus team supports students and academic members of staff who are actually based at The University of Bolton, however the Off-Campus team supports those students and academic staff who are at Partnered Centres and other Off-Campus Units.

  1. “How do I know who to speak to about my course?”

-You can view the list of Course Administrators here. You can call the main number for The Academic Support Service and ask to speak to the Administrator for your course.
