Anne-Marie Bird
Anne-Marie is a lecturer in the School. She has taught in Education and Cultural and Creative Studies. She currently teaches modules on the English pathway, specialising in Children's Literature and Women's Writing. She has given numerous papers at international conferences and has published on Roald Dahl and children's film, Russell Hoban, Aidan Chambers and Melvin Burgess. She has several publications on Philip Pullman's work – her most recent being an exploration of Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' trilogy in relation to postmodern theory.
