Ged Clarke

Lecturer

Ged entered the teaching profession after completing industrial training with Courtaulds Textiles, a degree in Business Studies and his PGCE. His main duties within the school involve teaching on the Accountancy and Business programmes in the Institute of Management and a non-teaching role as an AC for the academic areas of Business, Law, Accountancy and university-wide committees and support meetings in the areas of academic development, quality and student experience.

Ged is also Link Tutor for undergraduate business programmes at Bradford College and New York College, Athens.

He has previously spent 18 months as Assistant to the Principal (Planning) and two years of educational development work relating to my award as a University Learning and Teaching Fellow. The most significant outcome being the development of e-learning and he was involved in chairing the development of the university.
