Becky Stringer

Lecturer in Nursing

Becky is a registered adult nurse with clinical experience in respiratory medicine, intermediate care, palliative care, health visiting and clinical education working at Royal Bolton Hospital Foundation Trust.

In 2006 Becky graduated from the University of Salford with a DipHE in Adult Nursing. Upon graduating Becky worked in multiple clinical settings before completing her BSc (Hons) degree in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting) in 2015. During her time as a nurse and health visitor Becky became interested in supporting students learning and experiences during their nursing programme. Becky has since completed her Certificate of Professional Development Preparation for Education and Training in 2020 and her Post Graduate Certificate in Professional and Higher Education in 2022. Whilst working as a lecturer at the University of Bolton Becky has successfully obtain her Fellowship of Higher Education status.

Teaching specialisms.
Becky teaches on several modules of the Pre-Registration Nursing programme which have included Accountability and Professionalism, Medicines Management and Advanced Clinical Skills and Procedures.
