2022 Films With the Best Special Effects!

In recent years, films with incredible special effects have become more and more common. Thanks to advances in technology, what was once impossible to film is now possible, and directors can bring their vision to life on the big screen like never before.

Let’s look at five films that either did or are set to wow audiences with their cutting-edge special effects.

Avatar 2

This long-awaited sequel to James Cameron's 2009 film, "Avatar", is set to be released in December 2022. The original "Avatar" was a ground-breaking film in terms of special effects and we can only imagine what the sequel will do. The film will be shot in 4K 3D at a rate of 120 frames per second and will feature even more state-of-the-art CGI than the first.

Jurassic World 3

The third instalment of this popular franchise was released in June 2022. The film will again feature realistic dinosaurs, thanks to the latest advances in CGI technology. We can also expect to see some stunning scenery, as the film will be shot entirely in IMAX 3D.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2

This highly anticipated sequel to 2018's Academy Award winning animated film was released in April 2022. The original "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" was praised for its innovative visuals, and we can expect more of the same from the sequel. However, this time around, the film will be shot entirely in IMAX 3D. As a result, audiences can expect an even more immersive experience.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

This highly anticipated final instalment of Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" trilogy is set for release in December 2022. The film will conclude the story of Bilbo Baggins and his fight against the evil dragon Smaug. We can expect to see more incredible special effects, as well as breath-taking landscapes and action sequences.

Blade Runner 2049

The long-awaited sequel to Ridley Scott's 1982 classic was released in October 2022. In this Blade Runner movie, Harrison Ford will reprise his role as Rick Deckard. Set 30 years after the events of the first film, "Blade Runner 2049" will take place in a future Los Angeles that has been taken over by artificial intelligence. We can expect some truly amazing visual effects in this one.
